The word ‘Boarding’ summons up images of kennels, cages and solitude, almost like sending your beloved dog to the pound while you go away to work or on holiday.

Here at Buddies, dog boarding is referred to as a sleep over as it reflects the environment in which your dog will live while you are away.

Dogs sleep over at the fully licensed home of Buddies owner Emma and are all treated like one of the family. No dogs are caged, all dogs receive personal attention and are exercised & walked to your specific requirements.

We have a large secure garden for dogs to roam and play. All dogs are housed indoors at night in their own bed with plenty of water and toys to play with.

Dogs can stay either a few hours or can sleep over from one night up to 6 weeks.  You must provide food, bowls and bedding.

We recommend that all dogs attend a short visit to familiarise themselves with the environment and Emma’s dog Buddy.

If you intend to have your dog sleep over with us for more than a few days we suggest you try us for a night or two first, to see if your dog settles okay and you are happy he/she will enjoy their stay at Buddies.

If your dog takes medication then you must provide very specific written instructions and explain their medical condition.
